|Rags to Riches| Follow your inner star

Hey dolls! Only 1 more day left of the work week, well if you have a day job. I've been on the search for a new job ever since we relocated to Georgia, I never thought it would be this hard to find a job. I put in what I'd like to call my very last application on Tuesday at a fast food restaurant. I'm stuck between chasing my dreams or settling for temporary pleasure. I've always told myself, I'll never give in to another minimum wage job again, it just isn't for me and my business mindset.

A few weeks back, I applied for my dream job to work with American Girl, I never thought in a million years that they would actually give me a call. Luckily, not even a week and a half later, today, I got "the call" for an interview over the phone! Long story short, with my conflicting beauty school schedule, I wouldn't be able to make the minimum hours/days they are looking for. I was devastated, after over 20+ endless job applications, I finally got "the call" and it doesn't work out.

Today I was reminded, how bad I want this cosmetology license, how much sacrificing it actually takes to get to where you want to be in life. After all, if success was so easily accessible we'd all be millionaires right?
It just so happens American Girl's motto is to inspire young girls to " Follow Your Inner Star". That's just a coincidence? I think not!

I'm going to call this day 1 of my quest to success, following my inner star, even if that means spending the next 12 months broke & sacrificing, & the rest of my years on earth happy & wealthy. Do what you love, Love what you do dolls! Remember yesterdays quote:

Entrepreneurship is living a few years of your life like most people won't. So that you can spend the rest of your life like most people can't.

Don't lose sight of your vision, you know exactly what you want to do with your life, it's up to you to be a risk taker and go after it
