“My mom inspires me. Growing up in a single parent home, we did not have a lot of money. My mom worked 3 jobs and had a hustle like no other to make sure that we had food on the table and clothes on our backs. She was so passionate about her job as a nurse and loved her patients dearly so she never really complained about the workload because she was doing what she loved. I want my curl friends to find something that they are passionate about and make it a career or side hustle. I want people to know that you don’t have to be a product of your situation. You can change your circumstances with vision and hard work. ”
