We've spent the last 7 days shopping for a new house in the 2017 Toyota Prius Prime. Boy were we impressed! Let's just say caribbean parents SWEAR by Toyota so it's common for children to stray away from the go-to vehicle to a more trendy and stylish brand. Toyota is like every Caribbean child's first vehicle until you're ready to upgrade on your own haha! But with the new 2017 Toyota Prius Prime and all of its bells and whistles; I wouldn't dread it as my first vehicle if I could do it all over again.
That's right! We're moving! It's been a long life changing 4 years in our current home. It's time for an upgrade and we're definitely overdue for more space. With the growth of NaturalBossLady hair extensions and did I mention that we hit 50,000 subscribers on Youtube? Yea, it's time for a more efficient studio space, and updated kitchen as well.
Here are our top 5 favorite features of the 2017 Toyota Prius Prime
1. Savings! $$$ Hybrid (Gas & Electric) Conveniently charge in your home outlet and save money at the pump. We pretty much cruised in Eco mode throughout the entire week and burned no more than $13 in gas total (around 54 - 133 mpg depending on our setting).
2. Sleek and Stylish look Never sacrifice style for savings. This new sleek design and attention to detail can't go unnoticed. You'll feel ahead of the game and futuristic even in the backseat.
3. Millennial friendly Technology Navigate your vehicle & convenience options via the App Store. You'll find everything from Pandora, Turn by Turn GPS directions, a sleek dashboard, and wireless charging station for any phone model no matter how old.
4. Large Monitor/ Backup camera Upon first glance, you'll think it's an iPad but Toyota is on to something with this large display. It's easy to read, very organized and your backup camera is no longer a mini square that you're struggling to follow. The bigger the better!
5. Stiff gears are a thing of the past Park within the click of a button & shift gears with ease.
We really enjoyed house shopping in our Prius and would definitely recommend it to college students looking to save money, stay up to date, and look stylish. Toyota really impressed us with this one! Looks like we've settled on our dream county/city that we'll be moving to and can't wait to move this summer!
